My nomination “Parcours Permanent d’Orientation de Caintin” was accepted on the 08/12/2025.
The location in the acceptance email is 45.412795, 4.368969. It appears to be in an empty cell, but no pokestop has been created.
If you can get there in person, you can go to the submission map, found at the start of the wayspot submission process in Pokemon Go, and see if you can find out where the wayspot actually is. It might have been moved during review.
If the Wayspot is not at the actual location in real life now, you can use Help Chat at https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help to move the pin. They will want evidence that this is a genuine correction, like geo tagged photos, and will not move something just to make it show up in Pokemon Go.
Just in case you did pin away from where the object is to put it in an empty cell, consider yourself lucky that it was just moved to the correct location. We see posts here frequently, and two just this morning, of folks getting suspensions for mislocation of wayspots.
I agree that the coordinates given are not on a wall, but I can’t see where the actual map is, so am explaining how the correction could be made and in what circumstances.
It’s got quite a large triangle so not very precise but it does appear to on the opposite side of the path and should be close to the orginal point.exactly where is not something I can tell . It shouldn’t have been moved to where it has ended up.
You don’t get a notice that it has been moved in voting. As @salixsorbus mentioned, you can check where it ended up by starting a nomination while you are right there at the location. The nomination map will show Wayspots not being used in Pokemon go as exclamation points - the wording "used in other Niantic games is misleading - so you can see where it ended up. Something like this, but you have to be there physically. It covers a very small area.
Thank you everyone for your answers, a bit confusing (and illogical if you ask me) that the original coordinates and not the updated coordinates appear in the acceptance email
This is the Web Submit map with third party tools to show cells. We are not allowed to share links to third party tools. We used to be allowed to share links to the Wayfarer Discussion Discord where we can discuss these tools, but Niantic started removing those links, too. If you are really interested, you should be able to search Google for wayfarer tools and find a link to the discord server.
The person who created these tools has spoken about them openly here. They are not designed to help cheat, but for understanding and accuracy.
The acceptance email does not contain coordinates.
The coordinates are in the initial “submission receipt” email, the ones sent when you initially submit the wayspot. This obviously has to show the submission coordinates and cannot show what they might end up as after being reviewed.
Your images help a lot. The final location is wrong, but it appears that it is still in the same cell as the actual location, while the submission location may have been in a different cell. Not 20m out from reality, but across a cell boundary.
If it were me and the current location is wrong I would still ask help chat to do a location correction, even if it doesn’t mean it will become a Pokestop.
I dont agree that the final location is wrong… one side of the triangle goes parallel to the wall where the pin is… at the very least its plausible the real location is somewhere in between, maybe on opposite building but parallel wall.
I want to be clear that I started my previous sentence with the word “If”. I did not say that it clearly is wrong. I can’t tell where the sign should be with no street view. But it makes future Wayfaring more difficult if Wayspots are in the wrong locations.
