Additional Information (if any): I am trying to move the Wayspot closer to where it actually is, it is at the corner of the intersection, but somebody put it right next to the church. If you look on Google maps you would see this, but when I was trying to move it to where it was it only let me go so far I could only go about halfway to where it needed to be. I plan on making a second trip and doing it again or even a third trip if needed to get it to where it is actually located.

This was probably rejected for two reasons
One is that you are trying to move the wayspot closer to the sign, but couldn’t get all the way there due to the 10m limit for moves. This will not work, as the location you have proposed is incorrect. To move something more than 10, you have to use Help Chat.
Secondly, the sign is not interesting. It is a proxy for the church, so it is legitimate for the wayspot to be at the church. Moving it away from the church is not an improvement for the perspective of the wayfarer map.

As per the Title the POI is the Church and not the sign therefor the Church is the correct location.
Some people will nominate at the sign and get it accepted (IMO incorrectly).
Location Edits should only be attempted to correct an incorrect location.
Even a Correct to Equally Correct is usually rejected.
Looking at the map it seems the only reason to move it is to put it in an empty cell so “St. Paul Episcopal Church Memorial Bell” will be used in game. This could be deemed as Abuse and trigger suspensions on both Wayfarer and GAMES accounts.
Would it matter if the picture of the nomination is a sign and not of the actual church
The POI is the church, as has been said already.
I was flabbergasted to see on this forum that some people believe that the correct pin for a church is always at the church entrance, even if the sign is the wayspot photo. I asked about this on a forum topic if there is a preference, since Niantic moved a Wayspot from the sign to the door in this case, which surprised me. As was already said, Niantic only does location edits for real world corrections. So since the pin at the church is a correct location for it, they are unlikely to move it to the sign.
