Hi! I’ll get straight to the point. I’m familiar with how Wayspot mechanics work, and I’ve significantly improved the area where I live by submitting new Wayspot suggestions and proposing name/description edits. In 95% of cases, everything works perfectly. However, I’ve noticed that a couple of name changes were accepted but did not appear in-game. I can see the new names on the Ingress map, and when I try to edit them in Pokémon GO, I get a message saying ‘It already has the new name’ — yet the updated name doesn’t show on the Pokéstop. What can I do? Thanks for the help!
How recently were the new edits accepted? I’d need to check, but I don’t think there was a Pokemon Go sync over the last 2 days. So if it was recently accepted it makes sense that it could be in Ingress but not Pokemon Go yet.
Edit: there was a sync yesterday.
The edit was proposed just before christmas and accepted a few days later so it has 5 months. another one that is in the same situation was approved 8 days ago and the edit was proposed like the same day. Maybe there is a problem with the bot?
Oh that does sound odd. I’d suggest adding this to the bug report section.
