I noticed the following wayspot was removed from the map and I was hoping someone on the staff could explain why it was removed or what removal criteria it met.
Name: Penn Avenue Picnic and Seating Area
Location: 40.446010,-79.991802
It is showing as a live wayspot, but not active in Pokemon Go. There is nothing blocking it, so either it is new (unlikely, given your post) or has been deactivated. Niantic might comment that it has been geoblocked at owner request, but would never provide details on that.
It hasn’t been removed as a wayspot.
When I look I don’t see it on the map at all, how are you seeing it is live?
Ok, it popped into the map as I was looking at it, that’s strange. It seems to be missing the community submitted tag.
A couple of minutes later and it’s gone again. I’m not seeing any issues with other wayspots on the map. Weird, might be a plugin thing.
