  • Additional Information (if any):

Apart from the fact that the waypoint is misplaced. And they put it on the wrong stairwell This wayspot is a gym in pogo and it is in an unsafe/private property area.

The area its located has restricted access. It is on an active army national guard building, the CT Armory, but at the back side where pedestrians are not allowed. If you loiter there you can get fined or have the cops called. The area is monitored by surveillance. This is not a safe spot for the community to have a wayspot, and people should not loiter there so i am asking for it to be removed. The area has lockdown signs and other restricted area signs on that side of the building, as well as a ton of cameras.

This road is mainly there for car access to the parking garage for the Legislative Office Building. People shouldnt be walking it and should not have a reason to loiter if they are. Trying to keep people safe and follow the rules of the city and allow them to play in less restricted areas so hopefully you can help get this wayspot removed.

Thanks

Restricted and employee accesible only doesnt make it ineligible.

If the wayspot is misplaced you should correct it instead of removing.

Mentioning gameplay doesnt help, in fact it has negative impact on your motive to remove the wayspot.

Building off of @TjoeMi,

See below for both restricted access. This is from information during the review flow:

In addition there are Criteria Clarifications:

So in this case it does not seem to be a clear case for removal. I am slightly more concerned about the inaccuracy in the location you mentioned. But I’m not seeing that as too bad if it is just pinned to the other staircase.

I know it’s disappointing when not everyone can participate at a wayspot. But that has been taken into account in how eligiblility and rejection criteria are set up. As a reminder, you should never trespass to interact with a wayspot.

Thanks for the appeal, @paparobzzi! We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
