Additional Information (if any): This was a gym for about 2 years before suddenly getting removed. The Little Library is still there and active. There are plenty of kids in the area who play Pokemon Go. The gym was accessible by everyone and not on private property. Please investigate, much appreciated.
Hi, welcome! Just a suggestion on how to make restoration appeal posts on this forum: kids playing Pokémon GO or Gym status in a specific game are not arguments that will help with the restoration of the wayspot. What staff usually asks for is tangible evidence, eg. recent geotagged photos of the object still being there.
Many little free libraries get removed because their locations are ineligible, eg. single-family private residential property or school property. I have not reviewed the location of this one but if something like this could be a concern, evidence to the contrary would be required.
With what you have shown for now I don’t think the appeal can be addressed - I would suggest editing the post with arguments that are not rooted in gameplay.
I looked on google street maps. Is this the location of the LFL?
If so, someone probably reported it as SFPRP aka private residence. As I look at the google car images, it does appear to me that is is on SFPRP as well as no real safe pedestrian access to the LFL.
Am I correct?
@avd13 By the way… Welcome to the forums. We are here to help!
Thanks for the appeal, @avd13 After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to restore the Wayspot in question.
