Wayspot Restoration Appeal : Malicious Duplicate Report(PokeLid)

  • Wayspot Title: ミジュマル.ジャラコ.ドゴーム
  • Location (lat/lon): 35.083040, 136.703006(estimated value)
  • City: Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture
  • Country: Japan

Even though there are no duplicate targets, a duplicate report has been sent to the PokémonGO team and Wayspot has been removed. I assume that this duplicate reporting is done maliciously. This PokeLid was installed in March of this year and is definitely present.
The seventh target Pokelid in the first link is labeled “New,” indicating that it was recently installed; the second link is to a page introducing the target Pokelid. The latitude and longitude I specified above can be found in the Google Maps link. The third link is to a blog that provides local information. The article reports that it was installed in mid-March of this year.
The decision to use a Wayspot on a game should be left to each game team, but Wayspots that have no duplicate targets and are still in existence should not be removed. Please restore them as soon as possible and communicate with your internal teams to ensure that this action is not taken.

Thanks for the appeal, @CrownFeather! We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire the Wayspot.
