No, preschools are ineligible locations. They should be considered the same as K-12 schools. I would request removal of the Wayspot as being at a school.
I already did
“To be retrieved September 2020” lol - looks like it should be removed for that, even if they can’t verify it is on the grounds of a preschool.
It looks like there are 3 waypoints on that campus
Only 1 of them is on school grounds though
It looks like they’re all on the property and the plaque and corresponding baseball field is for a 10 year old. It also doesn’t look like it has its own parking.
Nevermind, I’m just not that familiar with the area. I think they actually are on school proprety
It’s kinda niantics fault anyway, a preschool is explicitly not k-12
Northwood 25 Year Time Capsule
That building doesn’t look like a preschool. I wonder if it was something else when this was accepted? There is still a big rock near there in the 2022 street view.
I think they are very clear on this if you read any of the criteria pages or expand the tool tip.
I just don’t think there is that level of commitment to the rules or review process, nor do i think it’s properly maintained, also it changes on a whim, so wait a year, maybe it will be acceptable then.
The rules around under 18s (not being in the USA I don’t use the term K-12) compared to other criteria have been consistent and clear. The 1 exception being the brief arrangements for basketball courts which has since been reversed.
It is a criteria for removal.
Oh not doubting that it is now, just wondering how it got accepted in the first place!
The Street View from the other side shows the name.
FYI, I don’t trust Google labels. Anyone can make and edit them.
