Waystop was a Church but now it's a Gym

I have attempted to submit edits including title, description and photos for a wayspot that used to be a church but is now a gym. All submissions for edits were declined even in appeal. I submitted a new photo today from a similar angle angle to show how the sign AND building has changed. As the new tenants of the building are now a gym, I figured it still qualified as a wayspot but should be updated to reflect reality. The current photo submission is in appeal status but previous attempts were denied. What is the best way to get this corrected?

Welcome to the forum!

The Wayspot that was approved was a church. The church should be reported for removal, and the gym resubmitted as a new Wayspot. To try to change a Wayspot from what was approved is considered repurposing by Niantic, and is not allowed.
