The web submission form is great, and everything being on one screen instead of multiple pages has been very helpful with making submissions easier!
However, I did encounter an issue where after uploading all my photos and filling out all the info, I pressed the submit button at the bottom of the page, but I was not taken to the success page with the confetti and nothing appeared to happen. Thinking it didn’t go through, I pressed it again, and the same thing occurred. The submit button faded, the small loading circle appeared, then it went back to normal like nothing happened.
After checking my contributions page, I saw that it had uploaded the same submission multiple times and used one of my nominations for each duplicate upload, despite not being taken to the success page after pressing submit.
↑ The same nomination being uploaded 3 times, seemingly once for each time I hit the submit button after not being taken to the success page.
↓ 5 Nominations being used: 3 for each unique nomination in the first picture, 2 for the duplicates from the bug (which I withdrew).
This appears to be the same issue that InvestigateXM had. Has this happened with anyone else? And would it be possible to make it so a submission will not go through if the web form fails to take you to the success page with confetti?
In case it matters, this happened on Firefox for PC, after being taken to the success page for my first submission today, and pressing the button on that page that lets you create another submission.
