Yep, address is incorrect in Chrome again on my laptop. Back to Edge for now.
Niantic does not even discuss the S2 Cells and have never officially confirmed them so unlikely they will include the cells.
Placing additional waypoints would not seen as a waste of time to most wayfarers.
Nomination mayâŠ
- become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
- replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
- be used in other Scopely games.
***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).
I would add to @SlimboyFat71âs post by adding, considering that the Pokemon Company are adding new Regions, it would stand to reason that any new features could result in features that could end up in Pokemon Go that could use the nomination that you have submitted and hopefully get approved.
Iâm getting a similar bug when I submit. It seems to use a submission of the allotted 40 each time it bugs out too, although they donât show in the contributions page.
The web submission form is great, and everything being on one screen instead of multiple pages has been very helpful with making submissions easier!
However, I did encounter an issue where after uploading all my photos and filling out all the info, I pressed the submit button at the bottom of the page, but I was not taken to the success page with the confetti and nothing appeared to happen. Thinking it didnât go through, I pressed it again, and the same thing occurred. The submit button faded, the small loading circle appeared, then it went back to normal like nothing happened.
After checking my contributions page, I saw that it had uploaded the same submission multiple times and used one of my nominations for each duplicate upload, despite not being taken to the success page after pressing submit.
â The same nomination being uploaded 3 times, seemingly once for each time I hit the submit button after not being taken to the success page.
â 5 Nominations being used: 3 for each unique nomination in the first picture, 2 for the duplicates from the bug (which I withdrew).
This appears to be the same issue that InvestigateXM had. Has this happened with anyone else? And would it be possible to make it so a submission will not go through if the web form fails to take you to the success page with confetti?
In case it matters, this happened on Firefox for PC, after being taken to the success page for my first submission today, and pressing the button on that page that lets you create another submission.
Did you receive confetti this time?
I was taken to the success page for the submission I made before having this issue (American Flag) and for the submission I made after experiencing the bug (Bachman Stage). The one that was duplicated (Community Center Painting) did not show me the success page or throw confetti any time that I pressed submit.
Hi @Diedntgo , welcome to the Wayfarer Community Forum, and thanks for the report. This appears to be inconsistent. I would suggest clearing the Firefox browser cache and cookies and ensuring that the browser is up to date. If the issue persists, please keep us posted.
Happy Exploring!
I was using a desktop PC that didnât have built-in Wi-Fi, which I connected to the router using an Ethernet cable. I ran into a problem because when I tried to submit a Wayspot proposal from that computer, the displayed âcurrent locationâ was wildly inaccurateâranging from 5km to over 50km away.
After doing some research, I discovered that connecting the desktop to Wi-Fi would correct the location by leveraging the GPS information from the mobile device being used. I bought a USB Wi-Fi adapter, connected to the network, and the problem was solved immediately.
Some people might find this obvious now, but if you are still struggling with this issue, you can solve it with a small investment of about five dollars. Please give it a try!
Yeah, not the case for me. My laptop PC has built-in WiFi, like most laptops do today, and it still doesnât have the location correct in Chrome. It does in Edge, but I canât figure out how to get it correct in Chrome.
Most people arenât going to go out and purchase a WiFi adapter if their computer already has WiFi built-in and have no issues connecting. Iâve tried 3 different WiFi connections, and still not right in Chrome.
The issue where the submission form does not have access to may location (despite being enabled) for every new submission unless page is refreshed keeps persisting
I have the same problem.
Win 11. Firefox (also tried Edge).
Even tried switching to Wi-Fi but no luck.
While the issue with not being able to nominate via PoGo has been resolved, the improvements havenât been put back into place. We just may have to wait until they get rolled out again, and staff hasnât said when this will be happening.
I will say that my location issues were solved when the improvement were rolled out, but when they were rolled back due to the PoGo submission issue, they came back.
FYI, for those not in the know, hereâs the post confirming that the PoGo submissions are working again:
Hey soâŠI tried to submit web submission again and this time it is instantly rejected after I postâŠeven has a reason, is intentional?
Is there a reason why the supporting information field is limited to 512 characters when the limit is 3000 characters while editing a nomination that is in queue?
Not sure why I still have to truncate my supporting information when submitting online, only to just click to a different page after submission to add in the rest.
I think the background here might be too busy, with too many plants in it. The column painting is the POI, and while the photo is focused on that, the background being busy could be an issue, so cropping to better focus on the column might help.
We have seen instances where ML doesnât quite seem to like a lot of plants in main photos if they arenât the POI. Itâs not confirmed that ML does this, but others have gotten ML rejections where there is extra foliage in the main photos before.
Slight sidestep. Will there be, in the future, an option to be able to submit edits for existing Pokestops via the web? I get it could be limited to the same limit as submitting via the web..
Thats not a bad photo at all, itâs very clear. I hope you find it what happened
AMA says itâs being worked on.
For a rural wayfarer 10km is very bad. It just reaches into next town and borders the other.
It wouldnt hurt to have 25km. Generally i think the Ingress limit was totally okay.
