What can I do better?

Hello, unfortunately my suggestion was rejected. Apparently it was not safe and the photo was not of good quality. I can’t understand either, as the object is on a pavement and the photo is also of good quality. Any ideas on what I can do better?

Google Maps is unfortunately not up to date, the colours have been updated in the meantime.

Best regards

Kawin you’re such an art snob. /sarcasm

Completely agree with the above that this is at the very least nonpermanent vandalism, and as such not eligible.

Man sieht einfach so viele davon…

It’s a beautiful piece of art that alludes to the cubs history and beginnings with simple colours and lines.

I would have accepted this @bobcation

I see a few of these and it’s hard to tell if it’s a temporary bit of artistic graffiti, or part of some wider artwork project and more likely to be permanant. If it’s the second one, then some supporting evidence, for example a news article, would help a lot.

It has now been rejected on the grounds of “Temporary/Seasonal or Not Distinct”. I have the feeling that nobody knows the guidelines.

Hate to break it to people, but ALL art, no matter the medium, is jus temporary… Art is never finished, artists jus get bored of looking at it. So people REALLY need to lighten up on getting bent outa shape about “art”. Art is all relative, jus because you see something as artistic and beautiful, does not mean other people see it the same way. And vice versa.

I can understand that, but then no art should be accepted at all. Not even sculptures, as art is always in the eye of the viewer.

I think you just have to submit it often enough and eventually people will rate it who also like it.

What is shown in this photo is not even remotely “art”. It is painting an item two different colors. I might do that in my house - paint the part of the wall above the chair rail a light color and paint the part below the chair rail a dark color. I might choose colors that are just pretty or I might choose colors that have some meaning to me personally. But that still doesn’t make it art.

I think we can discuss forever what is art and what is not. One cleaner even threw art in the bin because she thought it was rubbish.

For me, these distribution boxes are unique because they don’t conform to the norm.

you’re proving my point.
