hello, I have learned a lot of “stops reviewing” lately, but I have a question in this case, the nomination is on a private property ( is a nice mural of a person drawing a galaxie) but the descripcion says that the mural is authorize by the owner of the property, does this change the rejection? or it should still be rejected ? ( the nominator could be lying I know, but hipothetically, if it was true what he is saying)
It should still be rejected.
A property owner cannot give permission that overrides the SFPRP (single-family private residential property) rule.
Although in theory someone might give permission for everyone in the world to traipse through their garden, this is fairly unlikely. Even if they did, it is still SFPRP and still ineligible.
is really a bummer but okay ![]()
Please define what you mean by private property.
Although the op didn’t clarify, the fact the submitter had to say that the owner “gave permission” for people to be there is strong evidence of SFPRP. It’s an assumption, I know ![]()
literally a house, on a residential street
Schools and SFPRP are easy. If it is on school ground or SFPRP, including anything on or attached to the external boundary, is not strictly not eligible.
The only flexibility is whether a property is SFPRP or multi-family. Once it’s determined to be SFPRP, it should be rejected.
no yeah, i know is a SFPRP, but i wanted to know if having permission of the owner changed anything. like if I literally did a mural outside my house with the sole purpose to be a pokestop it would still be rejected, that is the question
wait, traipse through their garden? but this is inside the property, I am talking about a mural that is outside the property, no traspasing, just a mural on a house that can be looked at by walking by
Hi @gunuro
I don’t think the Clarification was linked earlier about SFPRP, so please see below and not that it explicitly calls out exterior walls and fences are included.

Additionally nominations are to be anonymous and a property owner giving permission is either not anonymous or cannot be proven. I think this is the type of sentiment @salixsorbus may have been going for.
thanks letsrollgril
Just to highlight the specific parts of the criteria…
“Single-family private residential properties (SFPRP), farms, and K-12 (schools or facilities primarily focused for persons under 18 years of age) are ineligible. This includes the outer facing facade, fence of these locations, and property boundaries.”
