Clearly I’ve been musing on a few things today.
We are approaching the end of 2024, and many services/platforms do a “Wrapped” such as Spotify, YouTube and others. I even got one from Tesco (a supermarket) telling me what items I’d bought the most that year.
Spotify Wrapped image below for context
Additionally, I think it’s something that was mentioned here but Pokémon GO sends a monthly summary email and shows a summary of what you’ve done when you level up since last level.
What do you think would be good for Wayfarer versions of these? How many Wayspots you submitted that month? How many churches you reviewed, or how many times your nominations appeared in the showcase?

Who knows if I was also thinking of a certain Niantic game podcast that will soon be a year old also having it’s Spotify Wrapped soon…

I really like how many times your nomination has shown up in the Showcase. This is great for people who submit when they travel and then arent around to see the Showcase. I happened to get one of mine from NY sent to me by someone who saw it and it was exciting.

That would be terrible… it would just validate my FOMO

I got 1 of those and then never got another, despite being opted into marketing which is a shame because I found it interesting
I would like to see more detail about agreements, with data that helps me improve my reviews as well as information about the quality of my submissions

I would think basic stats for you…
How many nominations made in 2024
How many title edits
How many description edits
How many photo additions
% of accepted in each catagory
How many reviews done
How many agreements
% of agreements
Maybe cell stats (use ingress scoring cells as your local cell)
How many total new PoI in that cell (not in any particular game just how many total added to the Lightship Database)
I’ve always loved the numbers of what I have done and wonder about what others have done.

Maybe if they started to show ML approved Wayspots in the Showcase…

I would really love to see, for example, your most interacted wayspot submitted this year or from ever and how many times it was interacted (this last could be in each game or in total).
People with a couch Portal/Stop:
“Your Wayspot was interacted with over 10,000 times this month!”

I was thinking more about other people interacting, you shouldn’t count in your own wayspots
That would be super interesting, see how many times a PoI you created was interacted with.
I’d honestly love to see this for some of the ones I’ve created in rural areas. I’m pretty sure some have 0, but others it would be nice to know. Maybe even a graph of what months they are seeing use. I’ve done a lot of campgrounds, would be interested to see if people camping actually use them.
