I submitted a name change to a local pub that was known as The Wrestlers and has recently changed to the Mallard I submitted photo evidence and yet it was rejected immediately i thought the point was to keep things up to date dose no one check facts or charges when submitted?
It’s also not the first time I have reported stops that no longer exists with pictures of building site they was once on and they was rejected too

Got curious because that second photo is very obviously a digital edit. Looks like the renamed pub will open soon, judging by their Facebook presence.
I’d suggest submitting a place name edit to Google Maps to support this, or contacting the new managers to remind them to do the same.
