Where did my Removed POI went?

I take permanence to mean the expectation that it is meant to be there long-term and isn’t just transitory. Since nothing physically existing is actually permanent, everything can be argued to be non-permanent and that is utterly pointless.

For me it really is a grey area. To be honest I would probably have rejected it as temporary, but not for unsafe access. I’m a father, and when looking at these situations , I question myself if I would allow my kids to play there, and no doubt I would let them do just that.

But as said, I’m not convinced that this will be there throughout the year, so that’s why I probably would reject this specific wayspot.

Naturally you can appeal the removal of this wayspot at this forum, and a staff member can have a second look. But it is certainly not easy in this case to convince staff to reinstate the wayspot.

IMO: This is not a grey area in the eyes of Wayfarer. If it is expected that people would be on the road and cars do / can use that road then it should be marked as Unsafe.

I’m old enough that we always played football in the street (not a cul-de-sac but only used by the people from / visiting the street). Don’t see it now but even if you did I would not class any road as “Safe”.

Very true!

You are ignoring the fact that the location is not an official area for playing basketball.

When I was a kid you would often see Cricket stumps painted on walls to play in the street. Doesn’t make it a “Cricket Field”.

I am happy to be proven wrong but I don’t hold much hope for this.

Thank you! :folded_hands::heart::fire:

Thanks for the appeal, @PaulFMP! We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot.

Ok :sob::sob: but thank you for your fast answer :face_holding_back_tears:

Anything how I can get this approved?
