Hello everyone,
About a week ago, I submitted this PokéStop nomination, and it was accepted. However, on the map it appears as a white dot with a red outline, which looks different from the others, and it also doesn’t appear in Pokémon GO.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

But there are places where you can see lots of PokéStops very close together—much closer than these would be. How is that possible?
They just have to be on opposite sides of the invisible lines. Read that linked post. If you have a specific area you want me to show you, you can give me the gps coordinates.

Absolutely not. Placing something to put it in an empty cell when it does not actually exist there is abuse. Your point of interest is firmly in the interior of a cell that is occupied.
I don’t understand what this other Wayspot is supposed to be that is in the cell with it.
If that were to be removed, yours would be eligible to become a Pokestop. But it looks to be correctly placed whatever it is.
The cells highlighted are occupied. If you find other eligible wayspots to submit outside of these areas, they would be eligible to become pokestops if accepted.
The placeholder photo circles are imported wayspots to be used as power spots only, and have no effect on a Wayspot becoming a pokestop or not.
Of course, I wasn’t planning to place the Wayspot at incorrect coordinates. I was just trying to understand where I could look for another eligible point of interest instead. That’s why I was asking where a new PokéStop would be able to appear.
The other Wayspot is a sculpture installed by the housing cooperative that built the residential buildings.

Ich hatte auch das Problem, dass ein Pokestop akzeptiert wurde, aber nicht auf der Karte erschien. Er wurde auf der Niantic Map zu einem Waypoint (weiße Makierung), der in keinem Spiel ist. Mit der Einführumg der Dyna Quellen wurde er dann zu einer Dynaarena. Dein Waypoint hat also noch Chancen ins Spiel zu kommen.
What are you using to check S2 cells?
These are third party tools created by a Wayfarer Ambassador to work with the Wayfarer map. We are not allowed to share links to third party tools on the forum. You can do an internet search for “wayfarer tools” though. The site with the tools I am using will have a link to join the Wayfarer Discussion Discord server. We are also not allowed to share a link to that.
