So the forums have changed, and every time I log in, it comes up as Britney Cole Slaw. Don’t know who that is. I’ve been PokemonBowls for as long as I can remember using this.
My posts are gone and I had a thread I was trying to reply to as I was getting a bunch of reject/accept messages.
This is a Wayfarer Community issue. @NianticAaron, do you have any idea what is going on with this?
I had some things up about PoIs that were being rejected that shouldn’t be, so appeals, and everything is gone.
Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.
I’m not sure who Britney Coleslaw is but this appears to be what your Niantic ID is? Please try logging in here with the account you use for Niantic games and see if you can change it. https://my.nianticlabs.com/home
As you have said, forums have changed and it is normal that user posts have not been copied, but appeals made after a certain date are still on the old forum and are being acted on. If this is a different issue, please explain it further.
I never made a Niantic ID, weird. I’m not that involved beyond here and GO.
How do I access the old forum so I can see if I was replied to? I can at least link it here and then do a tag so they can review that link without me doing a repost.
Niantic ID is required to use the forums now, so you do have one. I would go to the link the ambo provided to check out the details. More info can be found here:
I changed it with my 1-time change to what it should be. I think it was just auto-assigned. Britney Cole Slaw isn’t even close to something I would come up with for a name.
My original name was ChrisLCie, so I’m not sure where that came from. Weird, but it’s fixed.
I did find the vanilla forums and I submitted the appeal(s) via chat. Sadly you have to wait for the 1 ticket to close, so I copied the format and hope they will accept it as is as I had 4 rejections come at once, all for the same neighborhood.
I reviewed the old forums and found the post. They fixed the one, but unlike the other Niantic person, they didn’t make the other edits.
I had a post that had 1 rejection, but showed that all of the other similar trail spots needed to be edited, and the worker did it. However, the worker who went to the ticket (I mentioned in this thread), chose to make more work for themselves and have me appeal them again.
