Whole list of way spots that does not fit the criteria

I reached out with an abuseform because of the amount of portals in a small area that are not portal worthy. Or as you prefer: Wayspots which do not fit the criteria

I think it is strange that you van day none of the way spots will be
removed.

I know for sure that almost all would have been directly erased when you
would click on it, even without doubt!

It seems like you did not look at all into the way spots I pointed out.

Even the names of many of these portals in the list are the same, that should be enough to make you take the time to click on them and see that they are really extremely mass produced.

Although these are mass produced, they are official and at a decision point. The object and its function are unique. The supporting photo and website of the route will help verify this rural location.

A trail marker that keeps people moving on the trail is eligible. Here is a link to the entire clarification:

It isn’t to keep people on the trail, it isn’t a decision point!

Decision points are valid, these aren’t, they do not have the name of the trail on it in most of the spots.

I pulled up one random POI from your list:

I can see why Niantic said it doesn’t meet the criteria for removal. This looks to be a fine Wayspot. As a matter of fact, I’d LOVE it if some of the parks in my area had a POI like this.

Maybe you could explain to all of us why you want all of these removed. They all seem to be legitimate points of interest. Is there some underlying reason you think they should be gone?

These are considered eligible trail markers. We stand by our decision to not retire these.

Come to the Netherlands, we have more than 10 of them per square km.

I would go through and make edit suggestions for all the identical titles. I don’t use randomly assigned numbers when I submit these. I try to use something unique about the location.
