It is a political party in Germany that is allowed. It is a left party I don’t even like their political content but why can’t I submit it? What did I do wrong? You can even find in google that the place is correct

Can I do something against it? I don’t understand what I do wrong.

I really dislike how Niantic lump all abuse reasons into a single narrative that has nothing to do with most of the abuse reasons

The “Abuse” rejection narrative can be flagged for a nomination for any of the following reasons

* The photo is not yours (e.g., taken from streetview, found on another website)
* The text itself is abusive
* The nomination is controversial and likely to be offensive (e.g., a mural of terrorists)
* Another nomination was abusive and all of yours have been flagged as a consequence
* The wayspot location pin is misplaced
* The wayspot is deliberately misrepresented (e..g., on school property but pretending it isn’t)
* (there may be others)

Here, I think reviewers objected to the political nature of the nomination. The actual political leanings are not relevant, just it being political.

This was just a warning about this submission and is not something to be concerned about, except don’t resubmit this (and I wouldn’t submit any other posters like this). It doesn’t seem to meet criteria (Social, Exploration, Exercise).

Thank you for your answer. I take the photo by myself, the text can’t be abusive since I only wrote “Die Linke - Landesverband Bayern”. And the adress is the same as the official adress in google. In my area there are a few boards from political parties wayspots so I don’t see the reason why I got this warning.

It looks to me like you nominated basically an A4 piece of paper? What criteria was it supposed to meet? A political party’s office doesn’t sound like a good place to exercise, socialise or explore.

What wayfarer criteria is violated then?

My question was how is this place a good place to exercise, socialise or explore?

As I said: in my area there are more of these things that are pokestops. I can understand if the community rejected that submission. What I don’t understand why I got a warning from niantic.

To be eligible, a submission needs to meet at least one of the key criteria (Exercise, Social, Exploration). It also needs not have a rejection element - it needs to be safely accessible, to exist, to be correctly located and not have abusive text.

Existing wayspots are not a good guide to what is eligible, as some might have been approved years ago when the criteria was different, some might have been approved due to poor reviewing and some might have been approved through abusive practices.

Always consider the key criteria - Social, Exploration, Exercise.

This kind of warning is usually seen where people submitted something poor quality that doesn’t meet criteria. So I think you’ve answered your own question here, because you’re not really able to describe what criteria it meets and why.

I would encourage you to re-read the criteria section of the wayfarer site and really have a think as to whether you can articulate what criteria something links to before you make the submission.

This warning is designed to make people have a think about this, and if you improve what you’re submitting from now on, and always keep the criteria in mind, you should be able to avoid getting any further warnings or suspensions.

Okay I respect your opinion but I contributed 301 wayspots which got accepted. I think it is very counterproductive to warn people for that little reason. Since the wayfarer and the pokemon go account are linked and if you get banned you will get banned on both account the conclusion is to stop submitting.

For example this is a wayspot I don’t see the difference to my submission

That comes across like an information board. It is however an information board specific to the SPD so is also political.

Your leaflet was not an information board, but a single piece of paper.

That don’t justify a warning from my point of view. I submitted an appeal.

Just to get your point: so you think for that kind of submission a warning is correct?

Pretty much. It’s a low quality submission that doesn’t come close to meeting criteria, so you are being warned to try and avoid you repeating this.

Okay thank you for answering

Yes, the warning is designed to help you improve before risking a suspension for continuing to submit poor quality nominations. It’s not well worded, but that’s the purpose of it

Is it an interpretation from you or do you know it? Since i can’t figure that out from the e-mail.

Not only does it fail to meet the eligibility criteria, but political offices are also explicitly highlighted in the review flow as a sensitive location.
Particularly when it comes to politics, if someone with opposing beliefs reviews the submission, it can naturally cause discomfort. I personally agree that locations that provoke conflict are inappropriate as Wayspots.
Regarding that email, it is actually sent out merely as an example of a violation. If it were an official warning or an account suspension, you would receive a separate email, and a notification would also appear when you launch the game app.
As the Wayfarer team staff has clarified multiple times on the forum, if you haven’t received that second email or the in-app notification, it means the email was sent simply as an educational reminder.
