Why did it got rejected?

If you refresh the page, or log out and back in to the wayfarer site, the rejection reason should show up.

To me this appears to fall under the “Vandalism” section of this clarification, and would not be eligible: Unique Art

But it’s similar to the other murals at the same location!

Others may have been accepted in error or under a different understanding of criteria. Did you get the rejection reason to show up?

This isn’t a mural. This is vandalism.

fyi, the location you show in your screenshot would not be eligible to be used as a pokestop anyway if i have matched up the map correctly. this grafitti is already a pokestop in that cell. it is also pinned in the ocean, which should be corrected if it actually exists now, or reported for removal if it does not.
Biohazard (Ape)

It doesnt matter. Wayspot might got incorrectly approved in the past. It doesnt set precedent.

If its legitimate mural, its eligible. If its vandalism, its ineligible.

It exists

I moved it a little more near the wall so that he stays in the actual position in the other cell

It doesnt matter. Vandalism is not eligible. If you have proof that its not vandalism, you are free to submit it. But i personally wont bet on it.

Please know that wayfarer only care about accuracy. Attempting to submit wayspot away from its correct location in order for it to appear in pokemon go is subject to abuse ladder system. Wayfarer is being used not only in pokemon go and not all niantic game use s2 cells as inclusion rule. I personally receive such warning before.

Didn’t do it on purpose since i thought i actually put it on the walk and not on the water.
Hope it doesn’t disappear now
