Why do I need to write an entire essay on what makes a location important for the community?

I am simply asking that you do not make assumptions about other users here, which can be seen as misleading and incorrect.

When a nomination is rejected, we are informed as to why it was rejected. If you don’t understand the rejection, you are more than welcome to ask us and we can help.

What we are asking is that you not assume that all reviewers are the same, as it seems like you may have the idea that reviewers reject a good deal of eligible POIs. I have to disagree with this, as being that I both submit and review, I follow the guidelines and criteria for both. These have not been set by the users, but by staff, and not following them could lead to issues.

If you have had issues with nominations getting rejected in the past, you are more than welcome to open up a new thread in the Nomination Support section, and we are glad to take a look at them.

And being you are in an low-density area, you may be interested in a test that is going on in some European countries right now, where stops/gyms have been put at street corners and bus stops. If this test goes well, it may open up more play locations for others in low-density areas: Testing New Wayspots in Pokémon GO
