I have a Wayspot submission that was rejected as a duplicate, there is no Appeal button on the submission yet it is not a duplicate, it is the 4th of a group of markers identifying an area of scientific interest where a special mowing regime is implemented to protect wildlife. Each Area has two boundary markers. In this case there are areas on both sides of the road, hence for identifying signs.

We get 2 appeals, each on a 15 day counter before we can use them again. If you do not have the appeal button, then you do not currently have one available to use.
You can resubmit the nomination if you don’t want to wait for the appeal. If you would like advice on what you might change to improve its chances on a new submission, you can post screenshots of the rejected contribution. Without seeing it, this does sound like it might just be seen as another sign for the same point of interest, and not eligible separately. The project would be the interesting thing, not the boundary sign.

IMO: you are nominating the “area of scientific interest”. If the signs are the general “We are mowing this area less to encourage wildlife” then these are just the anchor for the area and “Duplicate” is correct.

Thanks for the feedback, I think its just I had a couple of other Appeals recently that went through. So probably need to wait a little longer.
I have had over 150 stops approved over the years and know what I am doing and what is required. This is the second of a matching pair of markers, far enough apart to be in separate cells. So it is a different marker post in a different location.
Let us know how the appeal goes. Please note that we never saw your submission, and were only trying to save you from potentially wasting an appeal. At 1000+ accepted Wayspots, I know how valuable those are.
