When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:
- Wayspot Title: Pane e vino
- Location (lat/lon): Google Maps
- City: Hamburg
- Country: Germany
- Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
- Additional Information (if any): I don’t understand why my application keeps getting rejected. It should meet all the criteria. Can someone tell me why?
Welcome to the forums
It sounds like you have submitted this place more than once. If you reused the same main photo after any automated rejection, this could explain the subsequent rejections. Whenever you get an automated rejection and want to resubmit, you need to use a different photo as the first photo is liable to be auto-rejected.
The photo look does not centralized and there is no focus detail. I would focus on the sign as the main photo so when the Machine Learning check the image, they saw the sign in the central.

I tryd it more than once, with Multiple Pictures
This one is a bit too zoomed in, so is lacking context. The crop @TrungLatias recommended has a little more border around the sign.
If you believe that your nomination meets the acceptance criteria, you can still appeal it, even if it was rejected by the automated process. You get two appeals, each on a 15 day counter before you can appeal it again. The acceptance criteria is stated here: https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/21-wayfarer/faq/2771-acceptance-criteria/?l=en&p=web
Acceptance Criteria
Nominations and edit submissions must meet all of the following acceptance criteria:
- Must meet at least one of the three eligibility criteria
- A great place for exploration
- A great place for exercise
- A great place to be social with others
- Must be a permanent physical, tangible, and identifiable place or object, or object that placemarks an area
- Must be safe and publicly accessible by pedestrians (indoor or outdoor)
- Must contain accurate information in the title, description, and photo
It can be difficult to prove that this is a great destination, rather than just another place you can eat, though. “Generic business” is a rejection reason, and appeals will often be rejected with wording about not being able to verify it is a hotspot significant to the community. So be sure to include everything you can about why the community feels this place is special if you do appeal. Ratings, reviews, history, etc. can help.
