Why have you deleted this portal?

I would like to ask why you deleted this portal in the Summer 2025? It has been there since February 2025 and then one day it was just gone :unamused_face:

This area is the correct place for appealing the removal of the wayspot.
It is unlikely that the team will answer with the detail you may wish for.
Wayspots can be removed for a few reasons. Most commonly if it is no longer there, or if there is a problem with the location eg it is private residential property.
So instead of asking why it was removed, you need to make the case for its reinstatement.
Typically this involve proving that it still exists.
If you are focussed on ingress only then you need to contact the ingress team

Ingress has stayed on with Niantic Spatial after Scopely purchased Pokemon Go, Pikmin Bloom, and Monster Hunter Now. Wayfarer has staid with the Scopely games.

You’ll need to reach out to Niantic Spatial through their new Recon area.

I noted you used the word Portal.

If this has only been removed in Ingress, Wayfarer isn’t linked to Ingress now, so you’d need to raise this question within the Ingress app support.

Open Ingress > Settings > Scroll > Help Center > Go

Unfortunately Niantic Spatial do not have a forum for Recon or Ingress, like we have the Wayfarer forum here so that’s your only option.
