Hi, I am writing this for the 5th time now I think. Is wayfarer also as buggi and slow for you or is it just me? Anyways I would like to understand where my pokestop is. I got the approval email like 3 days ago today and my pokestop still hasn’t appeared. My other pokestops got in the game on the same day where I got my approve. I don’t get it
As your acceptance email says… not every acceptance shows in all games. Based on your other acceptance, i would guess that the Spring is in the same cell as the swing set (or maybe a different waypoint). Aside from this, it probably shouldn’t have been accepted if they are part of the same playground. You can share coordinates of your waypoint to confirm if this is the case.
I thought the S2 cells were explained to you on your last post. But here is a topic to help answer your question here: Why an accepted Wayspot may not be used in Pokemon Go (S2 cells and Pokemon Go)
These wayspots are in the same L17 S2 cell. Only one can be a Pokestop or gym.
And I agree that the spring riders should not have been accepted separately.
Hey @Baranmfb ,
Hello Explorer,
Thank you for submitting a Wayspot nomination! While some nominations may be deemed eligible by the community of reviewers on Niantic Wayfarer for inclusion into Niantic’s location database, they may not necessarily be added into every Niantic game. After a nomination is approved by reviewers, there is an additional automated review that determines whether the nomination is an appropriate fit for each particular Niantic game. Each game has their own set of criteria for this step, so some nominations may be accepted into one game but not another.
The most common reason that an eligible nomination is not added to Pokémon GO is because the nomination is too close to existing PokéStops or Gyms. If an existing game location is removed or the criteria changes, the nomination may appear within Pokémon GO at a later time.
Please keep in mind that while this is a common reason, it is not the only one.
Are you talking about Wayfarer or the forum? Could you please describe your experience in detail?
Just to let you know, there is a Wayspot in every L17 S2 cell in this park. You are not going to be able to create more Pokestops or gyms here. You could possibly add some Power Spots:
There are some empty cells along the buildings bordering the park if there is anything there.
Hi I meant wayfarer(website) it self somehow after 2-3 min the site is magically slow all I can do is refresh, so everything I write is gone and have to redo all.
It’s likely you have a local network bandwidth problem. One workaround when that happens is to write the text somewhere else, such as a note-taking app, then copy-paste into your post.
Doesn’t solve the problem, but helps prevent you losing text.
Yeah it was. I thought it was bout the fountain being in the same cell as the “totemoszlopok” thatswhy. Anyways where do you check for the cells these squares on the map?
This is the Web Submit map with third party tools to show cells. We are not allowed to share links to third party tools. We used to be allowed to share links to the Wayfarer Discussion Discord where we can discuss these tools, but Niantic started removing those links, too. If you are really interested, you should be able to search Google for wayfarer tools and find a link to the discord server.
The person who created these tools has spoken about them openly here. They are not designed to help cheat, but for understanding and accuracy. 2025 is near the end, what's your proudest Wayspot project? - #4 by Tntnnbltn
I would like to give you further advice that the titles you’re using really are not good. Titles should be distinct. What makes this “Fountain in the Park” distinct from any other fountain in a park? What makes this “Community Swing Set” distinct from the hundreds of other community swing sets?
The way we usually accomplish this is to add a word or two about the location. This looks like it is in Budatava Park. I would advise that the names should have been “Budatava Park Fountain” or “Fountain in Budatava Park” (or the equivalent in the local language).
This is not how you rename something. It looks to me like to tried to resubmit a wayspot that already exists, so it was marked as a duplicate. If that fountain exists in Pokemon GO, you can submit a title edit through the game. If it does not exist in the game, you will have to use Wayfarer Help to suggest a title edit.

I don’t really understand what you mean now….
There is no pokestop called Budatava Park Fountain. How I understand is its inside a Cell that will only allowing 1 pokestop, the fountain is a powerspot thats why its marked as a duplicate
When the powerstop is active, you can suggest an edits to its title if youre near it.
There is 2 types of powerspots…
- Those that where imported when Dynamax was 1st introduced. Thee will not be shown on the Review page and will be identified as “Duplicate”.
- Some unused wayspots (such as those that are unable to be stops / gyms). This will be shown on Review and will therefore be identified as “Duplicate”.
This is true, but this fountain is a true Wayspot - see
Why is my pokestop not in the game? - #6 by cyndiepooh
Getting confused with the mentions of powerspots.
Think I need to go for a lie down… ![]()
