I have about seven pokestops sent and aprooved in pokemon go in the same area, considering the S214cell rule at least one of them should already have transformed into a Gym or a Power spot and in about 03 o 04 months neither became a Gym or Power Spot dificulting very much the game for me and my wife because in our way to work or school we don’t have a lot of pokestops, gyms or powerspots.
Can you guys review this to make one of My pokestops became something ?

Please note that this “rule” has never been acknowledged by Niantic, and is just community observation. I will be happy to look at the cells for you with the correct coordinates.

All of those orange dots are not eligible to be in Pokemon Go since they are in the same L17 cell as an existing Pokestop.

The larger L14 cell has these gyms at these locations
which does seem to match the expected behavior.
The community observed rule for Power Spots is that they have to be at least 22m from the nearest Pokestop or gym. Also, the sync for those appears to be once a month around the 4th of the month, unless sync is skipped. And this just adds them to the pool of potential Power spots, so it may take a while for you to actually see any eligible ones appear. These all seem to be too close.
What can I do to have one of this pokestops already aprooved to became a Gym ?
Add more pokestops ?

That article I linked mentions that gyms are promoted at 2, 6, and 20 total pokestops and gyms in an L14 S2 cell. I believe I counted 14. So you would need to get 6 more pokestops in this area
(Please note that when I zoom out to show the entire area, it doesn’t show all the existing stops.)
But it would be random what pokestop will became a new Gym ?
That is a much harder question to answer than you would think. Niantic has called it abuse to try to manipulate which becomes the gym on the old forum. When that topic has come up on this forum, I have not seen them weigh in. I will just link you to a discussion here: From PokeStop to Gym?

Keep in mind that finding 20 eligible things in seperate cells can be extremely difficult and you shouldn’t nominate things for the sole purpose of reaching 20. Make sure what you are submitting is indeed eligible.
