Why was my pokestop rejected TWICE?!

Hello @Gooper0808
Sorry if you are feeling frustrated by these exchanges, everyone is trying to help :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:.
I’m not not sure if you have understood, that all of us engaging with you are fellow wayfinders. We can only advise based on our experience, as to what the issues might be and what needs to be done to improve the nomination.
Posting on this forum is not a place where someone from the wayfarer team will come along and just approve the nomination. That’s not how it works.
Th latest screenshot does not look like it has been appealed. Is that correct?
The key here is that you will need to provide links to evidence that this location is no longer used at all as home and is fully converted to business use.
Presumably this should show up in the area planning documents as a business and not mixed or residential?

PS bear in mind that you are talking to a global forum so sometimes there will be delays.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I won’t lie there is living. But still it is registered with the state and everyone little thing you imagen. It’s official in every way.

OP doesn’t want advice. He wants the nomination approved. For that to happen the challenge here is to convince reviewers (and Niantic staff) that this building is a business and not a single family home.

It looks like a home. There are no obvious signs that the home has since been converted to a business (eg. business type entrance, parking, etc…). I’m not going to say there isn’t a business run out of the home… but if so, it’s still a home.

Online real estate listings posted above show it’s a home.

So, I went to the Rochester, MN GIS website to look up the tax listings on this address. In my state this is a free service. In, Minnesota is a very small fee involved to do that.

I won’t dox the owners and residents, and former residents by sharing too much of the publicly available information:

Rochester, MN says it’s a residence. It even has a swimming pool in the backyard.

Yes, it was a house, hence the swimming pool. That’s an older Google satellite thing though.

You can upload the video online and post the link.

Since you already appeal, you can either wait several days if wayfarer staff change decision or resubmit with all the evidence that you gather from suggestion here.

So far i am still not convinced that there are mural inside. You cant expect reviewer to trust everything that submitter said without any proof. Thats why i am suggesting video to help proof salon as business and mural location.

But how do I show them the evidence? I don’t see an option to add evidence on an appeal.

There is no formal way to appeal an appeal. Wayfarer staff already mentioned that if you disagree with appeal, you can post here. Wayfarer staff will read and if they agree , they might over turn the decision.

All extra evidence can be posted here.

If there is no answer from wayfarer staff after several days, you can try resubmit with all the evidence you compile

Rochester, MN government says it’s a single family residence. Current street (and satellite) view appears to be from April 2026. It don’t see staff overturning their appeal rejection.

Government? If you actually talked to someone they would tell you otherwise? There’s no “government in that photo”

Scroll up to the info I posted earlier. Rochester, MN says single family residence. I’m not going to argue it anymore.

I wish you good luck convincing others.

Where people run businesses out of where they live, this is still a private residence. If it is a single-family residence, then it is a single-family residential private property with a business being run out of it. This is a strictly ineligible location.
