Hoping this change to the site to explain its open to and welcomes the public, as well as also explaining that I’m using the nominated spot as a proxy location for the wetland/its safe public entrance/parking lot for visitors/explorers to find the park, instead of outright nominating the sign… hopefully that will be more successful? Any other notes or points I should consider for a future re-upload would be greatly appreciated!!
The only other suggestion I can make is that whatever photo you choose to go with for the main photo, make it as nice as you can. You want reviewers (human or bot) leaning towards “of course this should be a wayspot” when they get your submission. I think I would still center it on the sign, but sometimes a photo with the sign to the side can work if you can get a prettier photo that way. I think everything else has been covered.
