OPR Live is a badge with a triangle (link amp) in the middle. One tick gets you bronze. It pops up on your screen and is a happy moment.
Three ticks is silver; 6 is gold; 10 is platinum; 20 is onyx.
I don’t think anyone has more than 4 (the number of times a Wayfarer Chalenge awarded them).
In 2016, after 3-4 anomaly events (in a few, spread-out cities in the world) Niantic allowed people to buy one if they had enough nominations to review. (You could only make 7 nominations every 14 days back then, and Niantic reviewed all edits). So of the few hundred who attended those events in person, I’d be surprised if a few dozen stayed the extra day, paid the money, and got the tick. And more surprised if those people then did all 4 Wayfarer Challenges, starting 7 years later.
Anyway! I’ll get silver when we get this challenge’s rewards. But I won’t be able to make a speech or do a happy dance, because my husband tried hard to get his first tick, and kept banging his head against the floating logo so only got 260 ish. I’m not rubbing his face in it by celebrating that I was luckier.
This was actually the fourth time OPR Live was awarded with the Wayfarer challenge, so people only getting it from the challenge would now be on 3, until rewards are being handed out for this one.
I am actually at 4 now, because at the Munich anomaly (2022) OPR live was also a thing , so I will be 1 short for gold when they get sent out
Got the codes so I’ll give away the pogo reward for the 500 tier. Not the other one though, I want the remote raid passes. If more than one person still wants one, I’ll probably just pick one at random from the ones who missed out.
If possible and not late yet I would like to join the random picking for the code! But only if there are many people, otherwise, no problem! Give to someone who ask before me!
I would like to put my name in the hat for the code. I never made it to the required amount of reviews due to being hit with a 24 hour cooldown during the time I’d allocated to actually contribute to the challenge, and by the time I got some more spare time, there simply wasn’t enough left in the queue to get enough reviews done.
