I saw that in my cell s14 there are 17 pokestops and 2 gyms and I have already received approval for another pokestop, adding everything up we have 20 SO, as soon as the twentieth appears on the map, a gym will be created?

I asked the GPT chat, and according to them, 33 PokeStops are needed to have a new gym.

No. If you ald have 17pokestops and 2 gyms, the next will be gym (assuming its in empty cell)

If you have sponsored pokestop, you might want to keep submitting. You dont want end up getting downgrade to 19 wayspot (once sponsored period end) and lose a gym.

The questions might be resolved, however, please don’t use ChatGpt for Wayfarer knowledge :sob: They are either outdated, unreliable or straight out misinformation.

Gyms are created at 2, 6, and 20 pokestops and gyms total in an L14.

This doesn’t happen. Gyms don’t get demoted from the thresholds not holding.

Roli and I read your statement differently. Existing gyms created through Wayfarer will not get demoted if a pokestop is removed.
But if the third gym is the sponsored one, and the sponsored gym goes away, you will still need to find that 20th wayspot to get a new third gym.
