You will see other posts from me that I do not wish to have everywhere flooded.
I can do short walks around the village where I live and pass 1 or 2 Gyms.
If I want to partake in Raid Days etc there is a park a couple of miles away. Due to mobility issues I drive there, walk down to the bench where I can reach 3 Gyms. Wait for the local “Community” to arrive and do those 3 then wait for them to return. 6 Raids in an hour is good enough for me.
Rural players do get it bad in some instances but others have built their area up with Trail Markers etc. They also get more chance to last 8 + hours in a Gym (as long as they don’t get stuck there for a year + ) and have a good chance with winning Showcases. So it’s not all bad.
A lot of the time Residential areas can find it tougher than Rural.
There are people much worse off than me, most days I could get out and walk a mile (it’s the weather that’s the problem at the moment ). I do have the option to drive.
On bad days I can still do some things from home, the daily spin is the only 1 that I struggle with.
I do try and be “Free to Play” as much as possible, bought 5000 coins at the beginning of the year and still have half of them left. This plus the Gym coins allows me some Remotes when needed to fill the Dex.
Only started playing April 2023 to convince to get out and exercise and just reached L66 today. When game released in 2016 I was the sort thinking anyone playing over the age of 14 was sad…
