A waypoint, (which is a gym in Pokemon Go) in my neighbourhood has been removed yesterday, but the playground is still there. It has even been improved a couple of years a go. Since two weeks somebody is reporting or removing legit waypoint in my town Zevenbergen (Netherlands), which are gyms in Pokemon Go, trying to get a new gym or thwart other players. This is the third gym that has been removed wrongful. Can you please reverse this and try to stop this player doing that?

Niantic does not remove Wayspots without evidence. You should present evidence that this still exists where you say it does, and that the location is not ineligible.
If someone is making false reports, that is considered abuse. If a property owner has requested the removal, Niantic will have to tell you that.

The playground seems real. You can make report of you think there is abuse ongoing.
That is a tiny playhouse with a blue roof. I think sombody is clearly abuse the system. There are many other legit waypoints in Zevenbergen which where removed in the lost two weeks. Some came back a couple of days later, but as a pokestop and not as a gym. Somebody just want to annoy other players. There are even some new (not legit) waypoint created with fake pictures. All in the same area.
You need to make report. Keep it factual and precise. Simply saying here wont get it to the staff.. you are in correct place for removal appeal but for abuse report , it need to be done separately
Are you sure its not because property owner request? Afaik, property owner can request gym to be downgraded to pokestop. If it was removed, someone need to make appeal in this forum for it to reappear.
Thanks for the appeal, @Sjoerd004! We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot.
What a strange decision. There is certainly a playground over there, though it has changed if I look at streetview.
It is clearly not private property (you can see the community benches and wastebasket in the background).
Edit: and if you look at streetview from the other side, you can actually see the slide (and this is a more recent view)

Two days later the waypoint was back with an other title. I asume the same person has renominated it that reported the old one, just to replace the gym to an other pont but i can’t prove that. I hope @NianticLC can investigate this. The last week more waypoints in my town Zevenbergen, which were Gyms in Pokemon GO and came back later as a stop.
This one was a gym 4 days ago and removed. Today is back with an other name as a stop.

The same story. Was removed as a gym and now it is back with even the wrong number because the bicylcle route hase changes last year and these signs where removed.
The removal was correct but now it is back with fake signs. There is no number 69 and ag the crossing you cant Go Staight ahead.
Please @NianticLC, can you look futher into this? I have got even more cases in Zevenbergen if you need them?

So gyms are being successfully reported for removal so that they populate somewhere else?
This is infuriating. Whatever evidence Niantic was sent that kept them from reinstating the removed gym did not prevent this from being resubmitted and going live.
Looks like manipulation to force a gym was going on here.
I know Niantic says they can’t reinstate the previous game status, but this is happening more and more from reports on the forum. Some measures to stop and reverse these actions need to be put in place.

This looks like malicious manipulation of the game board.

I understand your criticism, but for this one I disagree with you. The picture I took when I nominated this billboard was real, not manipulated and only non-profit organisations may promote their activities on this billboard. And indeed, there is a seperated path beside the main road which is uses by cyclists and pedestrians. On this road there are a couple of of those recreational hike trail routes signs and there are many people who walk here with their dogs. It is safe fore pedastrians to walk here.
It is difficult to see what the original picture was, the second one is certainly fake (missing trees).
You may be right regarding the pedestrian access (though personally I’m not a big fan of approving bike paths as safe, as I don’t consider it safe to be there with a group of people)
The snow could technically be explained by it being a picture taken last year. Look at how the AI changed the back of that road sign. The yellow pole is still there but the round sign on top (with the arrow sign for the cars in front) is missing. Definitely AI.

Ben ik toch niet gek dan.. Ik had het ook al door en had de fake nominaties ook gerapporteerd..
Maar van de boom wist ik niet, had net een topic geopend om te vragen waarom die weg was

maar die bloemenbank, zeemeermin gevelding, en wat waterlinie borden die er niet meer staan heb ik gerapporteerd. En 2 bruggen genomineerd ik weet niet wat de laatste week gaande is maar er loopt inderdaad iemand te klieren. (Om het maar netjes te houden) heb ook 2 spelers gerapporteerd hier in Zevenbergen die continu binnen enkele seconden in alle gyms in zevenbergen zitten die vertrouw ik ook niet zo. Samen een keer Zevenbergen afgaan fietsen om alles te controleren? 
En daarbij maak je niet dik dat een andere pokestop gym word… Zolang het maar bestaat, kan je weer nieuwe gouden badges verzamelen… zolang fake stops maar aangepakt worden inderdaad. Van mij mag alle gyms, stops worden, en allemaal nieuwe gyms. Hebben we weer wat te battelen voor gouden badges.
