Can I get an update on this nomination showing up on the game map? It was accepted on 08/19 and I’ve checked everyday for a new stop but there is still nothing there. Thanks
Hello, you need to pay attention this part of your email.
Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games (and may take up to 48 hours to appear).
I can see this is in the same cell as “Horizon Park Playground” and “Horizon Park Gazebo”. One of those will be your PokéStop for that cell. The others don’t meet Pokémon GO’s inclusion rules so won’t appear.

Although it can look simple that you nominate a pokestop in the game, the reality is that you are submitting something that may become a pokestop.
Once your wayspot is approved it goes into a database of approved places. An algorithm that the Pokémon Go team have decided upon, then selects those to go into the game.
That selection is based on some mapping software S2 Cells.

Pokémon Go will. Only select 1 wayspot in that green outlined S2 Level 17 cell so one of those 2 mentioned in the previous post should be either a stop or gym.
So unfortunately nothing else in that cell will enter the game as a stop or gym.
It does look as though it is far enough away that it might become a powerspot.
I appreciate that this is disappointing news but I hope you now understand why.
The map I have used is now over 3 months out of date so there may be other wayspots that it is not showing. You need to check in game by opening up a fresh submission at that location and check for orange pins . Your wayspot should appear.

Your nomination may…
- become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
- replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
- be used in other Scopely games.
***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).
