Hi there! My pokestop nomination got accepted this monday (7.7.2025) but still has not showed up in the game, does it usually take this long?

The inclusion rules for Pokémon GO are that one Wayspot in a S2 L17 cell becomes the one used by Pokémon GO.
If you have coordinates, folks may be able to give a better indication

The S2 map information is unofficial information. Should you search for it, I must warn you: the information is so powerful you will never look at pokestop nomination the same again.

These are the coordinates for the pokestop.
It appears to be in the same Level 17 S2 Cell as “Isonnevantien leikkipaikka”. If you can see that in Pokémon Go as a Pokéstop or Gym, that will be what’s preventing your nomination from showing up.

This map is from Ingress which now doesn’t use Wayfarer so isn’t always reliable for checking this but in this case it should be fine.
Yours is the red marker.
You have “Isonnevantien leikkipaikka” as the Wayspot that’s become the PokéStop for that area.
What would be the best move from here? Try to move one of them? (I submitted both) or just try to give up on the one that isn’t showing up.
Leave it, if there isn’t anything else close, it will become a powerspot whenever those update again.
Right, and how exactly do gyms happen? If I were to try to get one of these to a gym?
