Accepted photos are missing at the wayspot

During the challenge I submitted more photos than usual. Most of them were accepted immediately by ML. Often there was only one photo per wayspot, but for some (monuments, sculptures) I took several from different angles.

Now I have noticed that often only one photo was added to the wayspot. Two examples:

Example 1:

Title: Schwanenteich Pegau
lat/lon: 51.168083, 12.248496

Two photos submitted:

both accepted:

But only one (photo “B”) was added to the wayspot:

Is it because photo “A” looks somewhat similar to the existing photo? I also submitted this one, but more than two years ago. And it has completely different lighting conditions.

Example 2:

Title: Schinkel-Tabernakel
lat/lon: 51.218243, 12.181262

I can’t prove it because I didn’t take a screenshot, but I think both photos were already added here and one of them was subsequently removed.

Nothing has been done yet, but it could be that neither of these posts are in Bug Reports & Technical Support. Hopefully a mod or ambo can move them both there so they get attended to.
