Accepted Wayspot not appearing in Pokémon GO

Hello,
my Wayspot nomination Mapa Komunikacji – Przystanek Północna (submitted Aug 5, 2025, accepted Aug 27, 2025 at 7:00 AM) was accepted, but it has not appeared in Pokémon GO after more than 72 hours.
• The nomination is visible in my Contribution Management page.
• The S2 L17 cell where it is located is empty (no other Wayspots in that cell).
• The larger S2 L14 cell should allow a new Gym based on the number of existing Wayspots.
• Despite this, the Wayspot has not synced into Pokémon GO.

It seems like the Wayspot exists in Niantic’s database (likely visible in Ingress), but the sync into Pokémon GO failed.

Could you please investigate and confirm why this Wayspot did not appear in Pokémon GO?

As you are aware of S2 Cells I will ask.

  • Where did you check the S2 Cells. Intel no longer syncs with Wayfarer, other online maps are user generated.
  • It is also possible that reviewers decided that your location was incorrect and moved it. Did you place the waypoint correctly?

I placed the Wayspot correctly at the bus stop. The pin location is accurate. I only mentioned cells as a reference, but the main issue is that the Wayspot was accepted and still does not appear in Pokémon GO

Please Note: You are not nominating a Pokestop (even if this is what is stated in game :frowning: ), you are nominating a wayspot that has been accepted in to the database. Each game then has proximity rules in regards to which will be used in each game.

Possibilities…

A: The waypoint is in a cell with another waypoint present, the other waypoint will stop yours from being used in Pokemon Go.

B: Staff took a look at the nomination after the Public Vote and decided it was not suitable.

Your nomination may…

  • become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
  • replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
  • be used in other Scopely games.

***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).

what are you using to check S2cells? if you leave the coordinates, we can double check.

Ingress is a completely separate process now. It is not part of Scopely. Wayspots submitted through Pokemon Go cannot go live in Ingress. Submissions through Ingress are not currently being processed, but will not be able to go live in Scopely games when they are.
