Welcome to the community. Could you tell us the name of the Wayspot you submitted and if possible the co-ordinates?
I suspect I know why it hasn’t appeared, but without checking…
Welcome! The most frequent reason that an accepted Wayspot does not appear in Pokemon Go is because it is not alone in a Level 17 S2 cell. You can learn more about that in this article:
If you give us the gps coordinates, someone can look it up and confirm this is what happened.

It’s in the same Level 17 S2 Cell as “Goshta Pal Football Memorial”. Pokémon Go only allows for one Pokéstop or one Gym per Level 17 S2 Cell, so your statue is unable to appear in Pokémon Go. It may be eligible for other games though.

Goshtapal football memorial is in ingress as a portal not in Pokemon go so, my Statue of subhas Chakraborty should be a pokestop in Pokemon go…
My apologies, I hadn’t noticed there was a third wayspot in that cell, which is “Notun Palli Sh!v Mandir”. I’m assuming that one appears in Pokémon Go if the football memorial doesn’t.
Also, today I learned that sh!v is a banned word on the forum.
Do I re - nominate the wayspot by changing the cell ?
Your nomination was added to the Lightship database when it was accepted. Submitting the nomination again would just be marked as a duplicate.
Hi, welcome. Just wanted to strongly suggest not misplacing wayspots for Pokémon GO purposes, as that can result in sanctions, don’t take risks with your account please. Pins have to be on objects. Plus, yes as said above it will just come back as a duplicate. Instead I would suggest looking for something else in the area to nominate.

Yes.
Any accepted Wayspot is added to Niantics general database called Lightship. During review, the duplicate check checks against Lighsthip, not against Pokémon GO. So even if it doesn’t appear in your game, the accepted nomination will appear during the duplicate check in review and any further try will be marked as duplicate
Also, moving way spot away from its actual location just so that it will appear in a game is considered abuse and can have consequences for your account.
If you are looking for something else to submit as Ambassador @Xenopus suggests you should be aware that many of the already existing Wayspots in your area are ineligible after a mass dump by Niantic.
Many of them will not show up in IITC for you and could possibly block your submissions in Go @itschetry121
I saw many existing wayspot in Pokemon go same as my rejected ones tours n travels by generic business so want re nominating this
There is an app that shows everything in the Lightship database which would aid you in not nominating something that already exists.
We have been asked not to use it to submit Wayspots and edits if you do a fairy k1lls a kitten.
There has never been any clarification on whether we are allowed to use it to view the map though.
