Hi! Thanks for having me! Ive just got into making pokestops and reviewing:-) I think everything is going quite well, except when it comes to the category «choose the most accurate location». Im posting this because I dont want to make any mistakes and maybe someone has some insights on this.
When I dont know the location, its hard to see where the most accurate location is, when it doesnt show on the map. What do I do in these cases, do I skip them?

I check satellite view and street view if available for location edits. If neither one looks better than the other, then I check the little box that says “Unable to find appropriate location”. Skipping is another option. My hope is that doing the review and checking the box will help the edit complete.
There should be a check mark below the map that says something like “I can tell”. If after reviewing the map and what else may be included, I check that box if I can confidently choose one of the given map options.
I use street view most of the time. Where the blue line and blue dots appear, street view is available. If not, then satellite. But sometimes, with Google Roads you might be able to tell, because if it’s in the middle of a building or something, you’d want to do the one on the outside if it’s something like a church.
Hello and Welcome @Maria170
Please do feel free to ask questions - we all started out not knowing and as wayfarer is full of judgement calls there is often no one absolute answer
Judging edits of locations can vibe tricky as there is often a lack of information .
The check box for I can’t tell is there because it is often the best decision to make. It is a perfectly good choice to make if you do not feel confident about choices presented.
So do what you can looking for clues in the background of the wayspot image and on satelitte and street view. If something seems reasonable then choose it if not you can use the can’t tell box.
