When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:
- Wayspot Title: Roughly 50 POI’s
- Location (lat/lon): 41.370645 -72.83549
- City: North Haven, CT
- Country: United States
- Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information): N/A
- Additional Information (if any): This public cemetery park has had its fair share of activity within Pokemon Go. Back in the early years of the game (2016-2018) a false report was made by an aggressive local player to somehow get the gyms removed from the park due to frequent issues and fighting. The pokestops and spawns remained. As of a few months ago, all but 2 of the pokestops have vanished. The site is funded by the state and doesn’t have the ability to close, and there are no trespassing laws in the area. The cemetery park is always open to any nearby residents for walking or driving. There is no “business owner” to report and remove the stops.
Please, this is one of our states best grind spots. The spawns are still there, just no stops. The stops also show up still in the submission section for wayfarer within Pokemon Go, so they’re not totally gone forever. It’s been a staple of our community for almost a decade now.
Any advice or answers from official ambassadors or Niantic personnel would be helpful. This can not be an owner request, but potentially another false report. Please help.
