Appeal for POI (Gym) Removed

Hello Niantic

Today a gym has been removed from are very loved triple in are town, I am appealing for it to be re-added as there is no real reason for it to be removed.
A different pokestop has now become the gym a postbox just up the road. If it could be changed back to as it was previously would be a great as we most definitely do not want to be crossing the road to go that postbox at that location due to unsafe drivers on that particular wide road (king Edward Avenue)

Might be flagged as temporary art, but personally I love those sidewalk arts

It’s been there for year’s so definitely not temporary, do you think they will re add it

I presume one those photos includes a current date?

Otherwise I’m puzzled as to why it would be removed. They are pretty quick to remove unauthorised paintwork on utility boxes in my experience.

However if it is reinstated then it won’t return as a gym as the cell recalculated the gyms.

Not even shore how to get a date on a photo, but I can most definitely add one, that’s really sad if it can’t be re added as gym, there is a chance some spiteful players who are banned from are community, Would be involved.

Often your phone takes out some of the data when posting on a wepage someone technically mi d might give instructions.
I use an app called GPS map camera this puts a blob of data on the photo to record date and location.

Thanks for the appeal, @pr0r0w. We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire the Wayspot.

Dose this mean the cell can’t have a wayspot in it at all? as there is something els that can be nominated.

@pr0r0w because that wayspot is retired, if you nominate another in that S2 level 17 cell it can be selected to appear in a game.
