Hello and welcome,

I do want to point out this from the PRP criteria clarification:

Also, this is a street sign, which is just infrastructure, something very indistinct. It may have a coat of arms on the sign, but the sign is saying what street you’re on, so it’s ineligible.

In the images we can clearly see that the POI is not located in a private residence, but at the entrance to a housing estate. The POI designates the coat of arms and not the street sign which is just a support, in the same way that a wall would be a support for a mural. And this POI was validated by Niantic in 2023 by an appeal, it is good that Niantic validates this type of POI.

I’ve been looking at other street signs here, and they all seem to have the town’s coat of arms on them. Again, not very distinct, and also a part of infrastructure.

Criteria changes, and the info I provided was from May 2024.

Again, this is just a street sign as well. It’s ineligible as it tells you what street you are on, and is pretty common all over the world. Just having the town’s coat of arms on it doesn’t make it eligible, as all of the street signs here appear to have similar designs.

This is also why I submitted only this coat of arms and not all the others because in my opinion that would be a duplicate

The coat of arms doesn’t make it unique at all, as I have shown with the other street signs here.

I agree with the removal, as it’s not unique and is just infrastructure.
