Thanks for the appeal, @Nekoyama27. We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.

Any chance you can explain why this was not removed? This is clearly for the bereaved

Since 1901, Sinai Memorial Chapel has helped families in the greater San Francisco Bay Area honor the death and memory of their loved ones.

Cemeteries and funeral home do not meet removal criteria based on previous decisions. They would need a request from the property owner.

That makes zero sense, which is why I asked if Niantic could explain. They have begun making removals for sensitive locations. Am thinking of a specific conversation and will edit it in here if I can locate it.

I guess this is not up there on the sensitive scale then😇. That’s the only guess I could come up with.

@Nekoyama27 I do absolutely agree with @Mystogan5097 about the property owner request. If Niantic denies my removal report, I let the property owner know it exists so they can make the removal request themselves if so desired. I hate to bother the business owner with something like this that should never have been submitted or accepted, but every response to an email about this has been graciously received. Niantic will honor the property owner request.
