Appeal Process Length of Time?

They aren’t along public sidewalks. They really are at traffic intersections.

If there is no safe access by a pedestrian, then they can be reported for removal.

Most people don’t realize that there is a sidewalk because few people actually use it for walking. But most utility boxes do have sidewalks. Or they are in an area where people consider it safe to walk along the road verge because the local government doesn’t provide sidewalks. I just submitted 3 tonight that are in areas where no one walks, but there is still a sidewalk.

This. It would be a bit silly if utility boxes didn’t have safe pedestrian access, considering workers may need to do maintenance on them from time to time, and they’d need to be able to conduct that maintenance safely.

Just for clarity’s sake, Wayfarer criteria are found here:

I could defend the chosen spot until I’m blue in the face and you’d still argue it down.

I’ve emailed all information to the company on this matter.

As explained already by several people, this will very likely not pass even on appeal as it unfortunately doesn’t fall under any of the main three criteria. You seem to have ignored the part about other accepted POI not being directly related to yours and not being a perfect guide to what you can get accepted, so comparing them won’t help you. Please stop. There are many old POI from a different era which would no longer be accepted today.

While you can defend this “until you’re blue in the face,” you will be wasting your time because you are stuck on how you think should be instead of how it actually is. If you cannot get past this and don’t want to learn, then we cannot help you any further. We have all had something we wanted accepted but couldn’t get for one reason or another. I think working on POI nearby that are more likely to get accepted is a more productive use of time, but that’s just me.
I also don’t know who you think you e-mailed?? That’s not going to help either.

I think everyone needs to remember that this is just for some games, and has nothing to do with real life. It really isn’t something to take too personally, as it isn’t anything serious in life or our world.

So, take a deep breath, count to 10, punch a pillow, do whatever you think will help you calm down. This is just a drop in a bucket compared to other issues in our world today.

It’s not about “arguing it down”, it’s about saving you time. It’s ineligible, it’s not going to happen. I understand it is frustrating not having a pokéstop where you want, but there are eligibility criteria and your frustration is not going to change them. Please consider nominating the things that have been suggested above instead.
