Hi Niantic Community Managers,
I am posting here to request a manual override of a recent internal investigation decision. My nomination, El Pensador de Zona Río (located at Plaza Financiera in Tijuana), was flagged and penalized as a “Fake Submission”. This is a massive error caused by a complete misunderstanding of basic photo reflections and generate an incorrect strike to my account.
I actually created this nomination for the exact reason of the unique visual effect the character creates when you see it in person against the glass. It stands out as a really interesting neighborhood landmark, and that same sharp contrast and distinct look make it an ideal tracking target for AR mapping and VPS calibration. Unfortunately, because the graphic is installed on highly reflective glass, the tight framing of the main photo amplified that floating effect over the mirrored background. The internal team completely misjudged this natural reflection and assumed the graphic was digitally photoshopped.
To definitively prove the physical reality and permanence of this landmark, I recorded video proof at the exact coordinates showing the glass facade, the public sidewalk, and how the reflection naturally shifts with movement:

This is a safe, real-world location that perfectly fulfills Niantic’s exploration and mapping criteria. I kindly ask a community manager to review this video evidence, overturn the incorrect internal decision, and remove the policy strike from my account, I will also include the relevant pictures of the nomination and the place IRL;
Thank you for your time.
