I haven’t forgotten about the removed pokestop. I tagged Niantic and cannot provide any further reasonable comment on it

Think of the gyms as randomly distributed across the smaller s17 cells inside each larger s14 cell. Due to chance, you will sometimes get clusters of gyms, because a random distribution will not create gyms at periodic intervals.
Further to this, it used to be possible to influence which pokestop would become a gym (although this option was removed some time ago). Players would usually want clusters of gyms, so this further meant that the natural clusters that get created at random are enhanced by deliberate clusters.

There is nothing anyone can do about the gym distribution once a gym is created, unless that wayspot has to be moved or removed (e.g., if it no longer exists). There is no bug here or opportunity for the game to be changed.
The issue of the removed wayspot is still pending. Hopefully you get a response on this.
From what I saw I could not understand what this was used for, it looks big enough to drive a car round it?
I have added images of what would be classed as a “traffic playground” in the UK…

I already looked on streetview. It looks very much like an apartment building, so I would definitely not classify it as SFPRP.

The issue around that specific wayspot needs to wait for a response from Niantic. I understand your frustration around this, but there is nothing I can do to explain the cause of the removal. If you can, please set that issue aside in your head for now and concentrate on making a good submission for the inn.

Also - it might be that it cannot be added back in for some reason. It would be good to prepare yourself for that and look for other things to add into the game.
I see a school at that location. Wayspots are not allowed at school properties.

That’s embarrassing. It doesn’t look remotely like a school on streetview, but zoom in on the google maps location and “Mateřská škola Místní” does indeed show up precisely at that location.
@Scuper88 If the school isn’t actually there, but is somewhere else, you will need to provide evidence of that. Their website is very unhelpful as it doesn’t say where they are in a way that can be looked up on google maps.
If the school is there, then the removal is correct and you have been unfortunate on two counts with schools (correctly) preventing wayspots from being in the system.
