I am reaching out regarding a 30-day ban I received on Wayfarer and Pokémon GO, following a point of interest submission that was deemed incorrectly placed.
I want to assure you that I took great care to position the point of interest exactly where it is located in reality. It’s possible that GPS inaccuracies or a misinterpretation of the location led to this issue, but I am confident that I followed the placement guidelines correctly.
I am passionate about the Niantic community and always strive to make helpful and accurate contributions. I am willing to provide additional evidence (photos, GPS coordinates, screenshots) to support the validity of my submission.

If you are comfortable please share complete nomination that trigger suspension. Assume you got something like this. We need to ensure if suspension come from pogo or wayfarer. If suspension come from pogo, there is nothing we can do. If it come from wayfarer you can appeal here. Sharing you complete nomination can help you getting another point of view for your appeal (please do so if you sure that you are incorrectly suspended)

Do reflect and consider if it is something you have done more than once.

You may find it helpful to gather some additional information about the location. For example a video or sequence of photos to show the area and surroundings in full. Photos with geotagged data, this could include the use of an app such as GPSmapcamera to print the data on the photo.

I submitted both photos on Wayfarer, but unfortunately I no longer have access to them. I placed the point of interest exactly where the pole is located, just as I always do.
The first rejection included insults, even though I already have 4 or 5 points of interest accepted with the same description — because they refer to the same kind of object.
Then, when I submitted an appeal, my account was banned for incorrect placement. But the point of interest is correctly positioned. It might not be accurate to the exact meter, as it’s difficult to place it with perfect precision, but there was nothing fraudulent about my submission.
Getting a 30-day ban for this feels excessive, especially since I acted in good faith and followed the usual process.
You have. U can share your nomination email. When you nominate, all detail is there. I have seen people who got their strike lifted but you need compeling evidence to overturn the suspension.
There is nothing wrong with it. You can get suspension while ongoing nomination still go. Although sometimes wayfarer also might reject all pending nomination if certain abuse is detected
If your previous warning was over a year ago then you would have returned to be at good standing. If it was less than that then as you have been warned a further infraction is likely to mean a higher place on the ladder.
For future reference a good technique is to take photos, check they are ok, then do the submision using the existing photos. That way you have an independent record.

It seems you are on 2nd strike. Moving forward make sure to be careful. Next strike can be 90days suspension. Depending on severity it can go straight to 10years suspension
Aaron has explained that the string about insulting text is just the way the rejection reason appears when abuse has been flagged. I hope they change that wording.
