I have not seen any reports of accepted Wayspots becoming Powerspots since November 5. I do hope they will add some, but idk.
Could you explain to me what are the blue spots and red spots in that screenshots? There are already the maximum number of pokestops also?
Is there anything I can do now for my contribution to become visible in the game?
This map is for the game Ingress. The orange dots are unclaimed portals, the blue ones have been captured by the āResistanceā team, the green ones have been captured by the āEnlightenedā team, and the red ones by the ai āMachinaā team.
There are some L17 cells in that screenshot that do not have a Wayspot, so the maximum number of Pokestops has not been reached. Just gyms.
If your move request for your portal was rejected, the only other way for your Wayspot to go live in Pokemon Go is for the other Wayspots in the L17 to be removed. They are Stone sculpture pot of flowers and De Haan. (I formatted those as links to the Ingress portals since that was the easiest way for me to copy the names, but you donāt need to worry about following the links.)
The pink dot in this screenshot of the L17 your plaque is in just indicates it is the one I have selected to bring that photo up.
Niantic has been allowing us to share this information about how Pokemon Go uses S2 cells here on the forum. I always caution people not to use this information abusively. Reporting those for removal just to get yours to show up would be abuse. But if they arenāt actually there and/or should be reported for another reason, that would make yours go live if they are removed. However, there is also the possibility that yours would also be removed if they look at the area and determine that it is SFPRP (single family private residential property) as I mentioned before. Since they didnāt remove it when you made the location edit, they probably arenāt going to, but idk.
Ok, thank you very much. De Haan is a recent power spot, it only appears sometimes. Do you think I can ask that the power spot alternates between this one and the John Lennon plaque maybe? Or rather just wait and see if it happens.
It is so, so frustrating because you can see so clearly on this image that the plaque, which is on the left of the facade, should be in the other cell. The difference is 1 or 2 meters. I was really hoping a human being would see this and have a heart.
I have seen other posts made on the forum that Niantic does not like to do small moves. If you know someone who plays Ingress or level up in it yourself, the location edit can be requested through that game. And community reviewers will see the correct location on street view.
We have no say in PowerSpots. I have not seen any newly added Wayspots become PowerSpots since a report on November 5. That would be a nice way to see your plaque in Pokemon Go, and I hope for your sake that it does rotate in eventually.
I donāt really know what more I can add to this discussion.
That is clear. Iāll look into that Thank you for all your help and support!! Much appreciated
Hey guys! My Wayspot became a PowerSpot in the end!
