I made a reddit post recently for some advice and an ambassador advised me to post here to get a response from someone else that might look into the situation.
I don’t know exactly where to post this, so if a mod could move this to where it’s supposed to go, that would be awesome.
I will mostly copy the post I’ve made since it contains the information I want to show, but there have been some small updates, which I will add towards the end.
I’m currently still banned for 25~ more days for an infraction that keeps changing.
First it was a fake nomination, then it was the wayspot being placed at the wrong location, now it’s a whole laundry list of infractions that can’t possibly be proven.
I’ve recently made a nomination for a map object that refers to a new art installation in my city. The Google maps data has not been updated yet and it shows the site of an old swimming pool. I understand the report in the sense that maps data does not align with the current state of the object. However, it was first reported as a fake nomination. I made a video to prove that the map in question was real, but now support wanted pictures with geotagged location instead.
Enabled geotagging, made a few pictures and was met with a response that said it confirmed I was placing nominations at the wrong spot. I clearly remember putting the nomination where it felt like it should be, according to the old maps terrain. Since there are already pokéstops in the area, I was just looking to nominate an object eligible for wayfarer, disregarding potential cells.
In very close proximity, I’ve also had another two new art objects approved by wayfarer (one during my ban) and that makes it even more painful.
When last replied to, support also did not share any details about the supposed location that I had placed the nominations at. I didn’t have any reason to try and put the nomination anywhere else than where I thought it’d be on the map.
I’ve asked support to revise their decision, but just as last time, where they never asked me for geotagged pictures to prove my innocence, by the way, I feel like my mails are falling on deaf ears and the agents revising my case aren’t really looking at it.
This is super upsetting as I feel like I’ve contributed a lot of good spots, just to be punished by the report of someone that thought my nomination was likely fake.
In the attachments I’ve added a picture of the object that I used to show my geodata in the metadata, which they have asked. There is also a collage of the mails exchanged that show that support keeps changing my infraction, piling on new offenses every time without really looking at the original report.
In the nomination mail it also shows the coordinates, which align with the pictures I’ve taken that are geotagged, which should clearly prove that it was placed correctly.
Anyone able to help?
