hey guys
theres a beautiful iconic spinning barber pole nearby which keeps getting rejected
should i keep trying or is it something that would be widely considered as… too meh?

Are you willing to share a screenshot of your nomination? It’d be good to see it to get a better idea.
Personally, I don’t know of any barber poles where I live with Wayspots. I don’t think they’re seen as distinct enough to be so, even though they aren’t seen as much as they used to. If there was some historical value to the poles, which there may not be, I’d maybe consider accepting it.
Most barber poles look the same. So you would need to be clear why this one is different and special. Just being old doesn’t make it special (says the old person 
)
But seriously in some places the barber shop itself may be better if it has some significance as a social point.
So basically tell us more about this location.
